For a professional’s team members

Do you work in the team of a tree surgeon, plant care specialist or landscape gardener? Accepting the invitation, seeing your jobs and your schedule, recording hours, materials and photos, filling in a tree inspection and leaving the team.

Do you work for a professional who uses Bladwijzer? Then they can invite you to their team. You then see the jobs they assign to you, on your own worksheet, schedule and calendar, and you record what you did there. How the professional manages the team is described in For professionals › Your team.

Accepting the invitation

You get an email (or a link) with Open invitation. It shows which company it comes from and with which role. Log in, or create a free account with the same email address, and choose Accept. The link is valid for 30 days and works once.

You belong to one team at a time. If you’re already in another team, leave it first.

What do you see?

Your role What you see and do
Team member The jobs assigned to you.
Planner All of the team’s jobs. You also assign them, accept new requests and schedule them, and filter the schedule by team member.

On a job you see the client, the garden with a Directions button (to Google Maps), the description, the plants, the attachments, the messages and the work order (PDF) with the sketch of the garden. You see no prices, quotes, invoices, maintenance contracts or the company’s figures, and you don’t open the client’s garden yourself. The client sees your first name and the initial of your surname.

Your worksheet, schedule and calendar

  • Your worksheet lists your jobs: what is in progress and what is finished.
  • The schedule shows your jobs by day or week on a map, in a driving order, starting from the company’s base.
  • At the bottom of the schedule, make a calendar link: your jobs then appear as appointments in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook (see Agenda).
  • You get a notification when a job is assigned to you or taken off you, when the client sends a message, and for a new date or a cancellation.

On a job

  • Log hours and Log materials under Hours and materials: the day, the duration and what you did; materials without a price (the professional fills in the price). You also see the others’ hours and, under Per person, how much each person worked. You can change your own entries as long as they aren’t on a quote or invoice yet.
  • Before and after photos: take a photo before and after the work straight from your phone.
  • Messages: the client and the professional read them, e.g. to say when you’re coming.
  • Tree safety inspection: choose Inspect a tree and fill in the report. It’s in the company’s name, with your name under Filled in by; the professional finalises it and shares it with the client.
  • Completed: mark the job as completed, with the date and a short report. The client and the professional get a notification.

Declining and giving a price is up to the professional; choosing a (new) date is up to the professional or a planner.

Leaving the team

Go to Worksheet › Team and choose Leave team. The professional gets a notification. You then no longer see their jobs; what you recorded (hours, photos, messages) stays with the jobs. The professional can also remove you from the team.
