Bladwijzer on your phone
Adding Bladwijzer as an app to the home screen of your iPhone or Android phone, and what works without an internet connection.
Bladwijzer is a website that you can add to your phone as an app. You don’t need to download anything from an app store.
Adding it to your home screen
| Device | How to do it |
|---|---|
| iPhone or iPad (Safari) | Tap the Share button (square with an arrow) › Add to Home Screen |
| Android (Chrome) | Tap the menu (⋮) › Install app or Add to Home screen |
| Computer (Chrome, Edge) | Click the install icon on the right of the address bar |
From your home screen, Bladwijzer can also send you push notifications: night frost, watering, pruning and more. On an iPhone or iPad, that’s the only way.
Without internet
Open Bladwijzer once while you’re online. After that, these work without an internet connection:
- the identification keys and the species pages (even in the woods with no signal);
- the pruning calendar and the pages you’ve already looked at.
Photo identification, your guide and your gardens do need an internet connection.
Tip
Bladwijzer only asks for permission to use your camera and your location when you actually use them. We only use your location if you choose to share it.
