Suggestion box

Suggest a new feature, report a missing plant or a bug, and vote on other people’s ideas.

Missing something in Bladwijzer? Suggest it in the suggestion box (at the bottom of every page under Help, and on your account). You can also vote on other people’s ideas there: what gets the most votes comes first. You need an account.

Suggesting an idea

  1. Choose Suggest an idea.
  2. Choose what it is about: a New feature, a Missing plant (a tree, shrub or plant you can’t find) or Something doesn’t work.
  3. Write your idea in one sentence, and an explanation if you like. For a bug: what did you do, and what did you see?

While you type, Bladwijzer shows ideas that look similar (Similar to:). If your idea is already there, vote for it instead of suggesting it a second time: that way every vote counts in the same place.

Your own idea gets your vote straight away. Until the administrator has reviewed it, you can still Edit or Delete it.

Voting

Tap the arrow with the number of votes next to an idea. Tap it again to take your vote back. You can’t vote on an idea that is Done or Not planned.

At the top you choose what you see: Open, Planned, Done or Not planned, and which type (Features, Plants, Errors). You can search, and sort by Most votes or Newest first.

What happens to your idea

The administrator reads every new idea and sets its status:

Status Meaning
New Not reviewed yet.
Reviewed Read, no decision yet.
Planned It will happen.
Done It’s in Bladwijzer.
Not planned It doesn’t fit Bladwijzer, or it already exists; the reply explains why.

For Planned, Done and Not planned you get a notification if you suggested the idea or voted for it. The reply from Bladwijzer is shown with the idea.
